Indonesia's Ministry of Health has confirmed seven new COVID-19 cases as of early June 2025, signaling a need for renewed public vigilance.

These cases were identified in multiple regions, with health authorities currently tracing close contacts and monitoring potential spread.

According to the Ministry’s spokesperson, dr. Mohammad Syahril, the infections were detected through routine surveillance and PCR testing at several healthcare facilities.

Officials urge the public to maintain basic health protocols, especially in crowded areas, despite the country’s stable pandemic status in recent months.

The government continues to coordinate with local health offices to ensure rapid response, emphasizing that early detection remains key in preventing wider outbreaks.
