"Stecu Stecu" by Indonesian singer Faris Adam has secured the 8th position on TikTok's Global Top 20 Songs of 2025, making it the only song from Indonesia—and Southeast Asia—to make the prestigious list released on December 10, 2025.

Released on March 5, 2025, by Alfatih Record and written by Farid Egall, the song blends Bahasa Indonesia with Eastern Indonesian dialect from Maluku, featuring catchy lyrics with a laid-back vibe that quickly resonated with listeners across different content categories.

The song has been used more than 17.3 million times on TikTok globally, appearing not only in dance challenges but also as a soundtrack for cooking recipes, makeup tutorials, and comedy content, with Indonesian celebrities including Jennifer Coppen, Rachel Vennya, Fuji, Erika Carlina, Jessica Jane, and Aurel Hermansyah participating in the trend.

"Stecu Stecu" ranked higher than global hits including "Anxiety" by Doechii, "Sparks" by Coldplay, "ocean eyes" by Billie Eilish, and "That's So True" by Gracie Abrams, trailing only "APT." by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars at 6th place among more contemporary releases.

The top spot went to "Pretty Little Baby" by Connie Francis, a 1962 classic that was used more than 28.4 million times on TikTok in 2025 for family, pet, relationship, and flower videos, generating over 68.6 billion views and prompting the 87-year-old singer to join TikTok herself.
