Oman Air will launch direct flights between Muscat and Singapore starting July 2, 2026, marking the airline's return to the city-state after nine years and strengthening connectivity between the Middle East and Southeast Asia with four weekly services operating on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
The new route announcement comes shortly after Oman Air joined the oneworld alliance, enabling seamless connections to key Asia–Pacific markets including Australia, Japan, and Hong Kong through member airlines, while offering passengers enhanced frequent flyer benefits such as lounge access, mileage accrual and redemption across the global network.
Oman Air Chief Executive Officer Con Korfiatis emphasized that the service reinforces Muscat's strategic role as an important hub between East and West, providing efficient connectivity between Asia–Pacific markets and Europe with growing demand for distinctive destinations and high-quality travel experiences from both leisure and business travelers.
The route will be operated using Boeing 737 Max aircraft featuring Oman Air's award-winning Business and Economy Class cabins with signature Omani hospitality, providing direct access to Singapore's diverse attractions including iconic landmarks like Gardens by the Bay, world-class shopping districts, and cultural neighborhoods that blend modern innovation with heritage.
Changi Airport Group's Executive Vice President Lim Ching Kiat welcomed the new direct service as an exciting addition to Singapore's extensive connectivity network, creating fresh travel opportunities between the two markets while supporting Oman Air's ongoing transformation focused on sustainable network growth that serves strong point-to-point markets and meets evolving passenger needs.
