Singapore's Changi Airport has reclaimed the title of World's Best Airport for 2025 according to the prestigious Skytrax World Airport Awards, marking its 13th time winning this honor and reaffirming its status as the gold standard of global aviation hubs.
The award, determined by customer votes from across the world through the 2024–2025 World Airport Survey, recognized Changi Airport for its unrivalled passenger experiences, consistently exceeding traveler expectations as one of the busiest passenger hubs for Southeast Asia.
Doha's Hamad International Airport secured second place and was described as the most architecturally significant terminal complex in the world as well as being the most luxurious, while Tokyo Haneda Airport claimed third position among the world's busiest airports located less than 30 minutes south of central Tokyo.
The top ten rankings also featured Seoul Incheon International Airport at fourth place—a former Airport of the Year winner—followed by Tokyo Narita, Hong Kong International Airport, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Rome Fiumicino, Munich Airport, and Zurich Airport rounding out the prestigious list.
Changi's victory comes shortly after being independently recognized as the world's least stressful airport by travel insurance comparison site iSelect, which praised its smooth immigration and customs processes, efficient security checks, minimal wait times, and exceptionally low flight cancellation rates—a dual achievement cementing Singapore's aviation excellence on the global stage.
