This Airline Has the Best Economy Class in the World

Thai Airways International has been named the world’s best economy class airline for 2017 by Skytrax, in a sideline event to the Paris Air Show. 

In official release, Skytrax honored Thai Airways for its "quality passenger satisfaction of the front-line Economy Class product and staff service standards that airline provide across both the cabin and airport environments."

Besides the recognition to Thailand’s national carrier, another Thai airline - Bangkok Airways - received the award for "world’s best regional airline". 

Thai Airways was placed as the world's eleventh best airline, moving up two notches from 13th in 2016.

The latest survey was conducted between August 2016 and May 2017, attracting 19.87 million eligible entries with participants from 105 nations.

Often referred to as "The Oscars of the aviation industry", World Airline Awards are a global benchmark of airline excellence.

The survey covered over 325 airlines, from the largest international airlines to smaller domestic carriers, measuring quality standards for 41 Key Performance Indicators across front-line product and service factors in the airport and on-board environments.
