
Meet the Greenest Universities in Southeast Asia 2017

The University of Indonesia (UI) is ranked as the world's 23rd greenest campus, according to the UI GreenMetricWorld University Rankings 2017 version.
The campus leads the region with a number of universities in MALAYSIA, THAILAND and PHILIPPINES and which are also included in the top 100 list.
According to Indonesia’s Antara news agency, it is expected that through the UI GreenMetric Ranking, universities worldwide can take part in preventive and curative efforts to mitigate climate change impacts.
UI continues to work to build an environmentally friendly generation and become a trendsetter in the world's ranking on environment and sustainability.



Extracted from the list, herewith are other universities in the region which are ranked according to several variables namely setting & infrastructure, energy & climate change, waste, water, transportation and education.
