In conjunction with the launch of the Johor Baru-Guangzhou flights, it is offering a promotional one-way fare of RM259 for economy class and from RM699 for business class.

Meanwhile, an ATR 600-72 will be deployed for the flights between Langkawi and Phuket. Malindo Air is offering a promotional fare from RM89 one-way.

"In our continuous effort to promote Langkawi, we are hoping the connection between Langkawi and Phuket will attract tourists from Phuket to also visit Langkawi. As a result to both efforts, we are anticipating growth in tourist and passenger's arrival into Malaysia," said Chandran.

He noted the airline is constantly innovating and diversifying its products to suit passengers' needs. "The Johor Baru and Guangzhou route complements the network and opens more options to our passengers when planning their trip," Chandran added.
