Luminihsan, a global platform dedicated to empowering Muslim women across Southeast Asia, has partnered with ParagonCorp and Wardah to organize the Legacy Makers Summit 2025.
Held under the theme "Women, Wellness, and The Future of the Ummah," the event took place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Sentral Senayan, South Jakarta.
Serving as a convergence point for Muslim women, the summit brought together leaders, experts, and influential figures from various sectors, aligning with Wardah's vision of advancing women's progress in Indonesia.
A Collaborative Spirit for the Ummah's Future
Founded by Guzelya Marisova and Shafira Umm, Luminihsan is committed to strengthening the role of Muslim women in building a better civilization. Through this initiative, Luminihsan and Wardah aimed to foster meaningful dialogue that encourages women to make tangible contributions to society.
Dr. Sari Chairunnisa, Co-Founder and Deputy CEO of ParagonCorp, emphasized that this collaboration reflects the company's dedication to creating an ecosystem that supports women's advancement.
"For 40 years, Paragon and Wardah have worked to create safe spaces for thousands of women. We believe that meaningful change cannot be achieved alone—it requires collaboration and collective support," said Dr. Sari during her opening remarks.
Insightful Discussions from Leading Experts
The Legacy Makers Summit 2025 featured three panel discussions with distinguished speakers, including Rania Awad, Director of the Stanford Muslim Mental Health and Islamic Psychology Lab in the United States.
Rania explored the importance of mental health from an Islamic perspective, offering profound insights into maintaining spiritual and psychological balance.
Additionally, Dr. Sari Chairunnisa shared her expertise on building a beauty business rooted in Islamic values. She highlighted women's innate role as caregivers, extending beyond self-care to nurturing families and communities.
"Women are the pillars of society. When we support one another, we can create a far greater impact," she stated.
The event also featured Iesha Prime, a Muslim educator and activist, and Peggy Melati Sukma, entrepreneur and founder of the Khadijah Foundation. They provided perspectives on women's empowerment through education, philanthropy, and entrepreneurship.
Luminihsan: A Platform for Kindness
The summit also marked the official launch of Luminihsan as a foundation, which will actively engage in social initiatives, including waqf (Islamic endowments), donations, and scholarships for the Muslim community.
Moving forward, Luminihsan plans to expand its network and programs to inspire more Muslim women to become agents of change.
Dr. Sari concluded the event with an empowering message: "Today is a moment for reflection, healing, and mutual encouragement. Let us return to our communities with renewed energy to grow and build civilization—not alone, but together."
The Legacy Makers Summit 2025 was more than just an inspirational gathering—it was a concrete step toward strengthening the role of Muslim women amid global challenges. The collaboration between Luminihsan, ParagonCorp, and Wardah demonstrates that through unity, women can become a transformative force for the future of the Ummah.
