Airports in Southeast Asia with Longest Runaway, 2022

Top five airports in Southeast Asia known for having the longest runways! 

Leading the list is Mandalay International Airport, located 35 km south of Mandalay in Tada-U, Myanmar, boasting the longest runway in the region at 4,268 meters.

Following closely is Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Malaysia’s primary international gateway situated in the Sepang District of Selangor, which has a runway stretching 4,124 meters.

The third place is occupied by Hang Nadim International Airport in Batam, Riau Islands, Indonesia, with a runway length of 4,040 meters, making it the second-longest in Southeast Asia and the longest within Indonesia.

Singapore Changi Airport, a major hub for international travel serving Singapore, has three runways, each measuring 4,000 meters in length.

Lastly, Suvarnabhumi Airport, which serves the Bangkok Metropolitan Region in Thailand, also features three runways, with the two longest ones being 4,000 meters each.
