In an updated 2024 report from the International IQ Test, Singapore and Vietnam have been ranked among the top 25 countries worldwide for average IQ. This study, based on data from 1,691,740 individuals globally who took the same test in 2023, highlights significant findings in cognitive performance across nations.

South Korea leads the global rankings with an impressive average IQ of 107.54. This high score is closely followed by China, which holds second place with an average IQ of 106.99, and Iran in third with an average IQ of 106.84. These countries showcase remarkable cognitive abilities, setting the benchmark in the global landscape.

Among Southeast Asian nations, Singapore stands out prominently, securing the fifth position globally with an average IQ of 106.18. Singapore’s educational system, known for its rigor and emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, is often credited for this high average. The country's consistent investment in education and innovation has evidently paid off, positioning it as a leader in cognitive performance.

Vietnam also makes a significant mark, ranking 20th with an average IQ of 101.45. This achievement reflects Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to improve its educational infrastructure and access to quality learning resources.
