Average IQ in Southeast Asia, 2024

Singapore has been recognized as the country with the highest average IQ in Southeast Asia, as reported by the International IQ Test. The results, based on data collected from 1,691,740 individuals worldwide who took the test in 2023, place Singapore prominently on the global IQ ranking.

As of January 1, 2024, Singapore ranks 5th globally with an impressive average IQ of 106.18. This achievement is derived from 4,576 participants who completed the IQ test, underscoring the country's strong emphasis on education and cognitive development.

While Singapore leads the region, other Southeast Asian countries show a diverse range of average IQ scores. Indonesia, for instance, has the lowest average IQ in the region, with a score of 92.64 from 154,070 participants. This disparity highlights the varying levels of cognitive performance and educational outcomes across different nations within Southeast Asia.

The International IQ Test provides valuable insights into the intellectual capabilities of populations around the world.
