Cirium’s annual report on airline on-time performance (OTP) for 2024 has revealed the top-performing airlines in the Asia-Pacific region. On-time performance is defined as flights arriving or departing within 14.59 minutes of their scheduled time.

Garuda Indonesia is among the top 10 most punctual airlines in the region, with an on-time performance rate of 75.30%.

1. Japan Airlines (JAL) (Japan) – OTP: 80.90%
2. All Nippon Airways (ANA) (Japan) – OTP: 80.62%
3. Singapore Airlines (Singapore) – OTP: 78.67%
4. Air New Zealand (New Zealand) – OTP: 77.58%
5. Thai AirAsia (Thailand) – OTP: 77.46%
6. Vietnam Airlines (Vietnam) – OTP: 76.70%
7. Philippine Airlines (Philippines) – OTP: 76.06%
8. Garuda Indonesia (Indonesia) – OTP: 75.30%
9. Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong) – OTP: 75.19%
10. Qantas (Australia) – OTP: 73.93%

Japanese airlines continue to dominate the region's punctuality rankings, with Japan Airlines and ANA securing the top two spots. Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand, and Thai AirAsia also show strong on-time performance.
