This data indicates that Mexico City, Mexico, officially earns the title of the busiest city in the world with a total score of 69.6 out of 100. With a large population of 12,294,193 people, the city boasts an average of 2,511 working hours per person per year – one of the highest in the world. Additionally, there are 1,777 tourist attractions and 39 universities in the capital. The city also hosts a total of 181 fitness centers.
Out of the 20 rankings, five capital cities hail from Southeast Asia. Jakarta takes the top spot with a score of 66.5, followed by Manila in 9th place with a score of 58.8, Bangkok with a score of 56.4, Kuala Lumpur with a score of 48.7, and Hanoi with a score of 45.4.
