Tourism Index in Southeast Asia, 2024

Singapore has emerged as the top country in the Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Index (TTCI) for Southeast Asia, ranking 13th globally in the 2024 edition. Developed by the World Economic Forum, the TTCI assesses 119 economies on key factors essential for sustainable growth in the travel and tourism sector, including sustainability, infrastructure, and recovery from the impacts of COVID-19.

Globally, the United States leads with a score of 5.24. In Southeast Asia, Singapore leads with a score of 4.76, securing the 13th position worldwide. Notably, Indonesia has climbed 10 places to rank 22, achieving a score of 4.46 in this year's index.
