"Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku!" set a record as the highest-grossing Indonesian film on its first day of release in Malaysia in 2025, surpassing all previous Indonesian films released in the Malaysian market during the year.
The film, which premiered on November 27, 2025, attracted 272,846 viewers on its opening day in Indonesia and reached 1.2 million viewers within just three days, making it the fastest Indonesian film to surpass 1 million viewers in 2025.
As of December 22, 2025 (day 25), "Agak Laen: Menyala Pantiku!" has amassed 8.6 million viewers in Indonesia, securing its position as the fourth highest-grossing Indonesian film of all time and continues to challenge "Jumbo" (2025) which holds the top spot with 10.23 million viewers.
The comedy film, produced by Imajinari and directed by Muhadkly Acho, features four popular Indonesian comedians—Boris Bokir, Bene Dion, Indra Jegel, and Oki Rengga—portraying undercover detectives who infiltrate a nursing home to hunt down a fugitive linked to a murder case involving the mayor's child.
The film's success is attributed to its combination of smart humor, emotional depth, and strong chemistry among the main cast, with the sequel demonstrating even stronger first-week performance compared to the original "Agak Laen" (2024) which earned 9.1 million viewers over 98 days.
