Flights between Cambodia and Thailand continue operating normally despite recent border tensions, with Sinn Chansereyvutha, Secretary of State and spokesperson for Cambodia's State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA), confirming no suspension of flight services as of July 2025.

Thai Airways has temporarily reduced its daily services on the Phnom Penh–Bangkok route to just one flight per day from July 27-31, citing decreased passenger demand and marking a significant cut from its previous schedule.

The airline's flight reduction affects both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap routes to Bangkok, with the temporary adjustment attributed to lower passenger numbers rather than operational restrictions or safety concerns.

Despite Thai Airways' service cuts, overall aviation connectivity remains stable with 128 flights per week still linking Cambodia and Thailand, as other carriers continue their regular operations on these popular routes.

Cambodian aviation officials view Thai Airways' temporary reduction as an opportunity for local carriers to expand their market share, while flights on alternative routes including Siem Reap–Bangkok continue operating without interruption.
