Garuda Indonesia plans to add 100 aircraft from Boeing and Airbus by the end of 2025, as conveyed by Deputy Minister of Industry, Faisol Riza, at an event in Jakarta.
This step is in line with the increase in the national aerospace industry and is expected to strengthen the commercial aviation sector in Indonesia.
To ensure the smoothness of the aircraft procurement process, the government is relying on the role of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) in convincing the lessor regarding the order.
Although there are no details yet regarding the type of aircraft to be purchased, Garuda Indonesia continues to strive to increase the capacity and quality of its fleet to meet the growing market demand.
