Indonesia, 18 other Muslim-majority countries condemn Somaliland's Jerusalem embassy plan

Indonesia and 18 Muslim nations condemned Somaliland’s plan for a Jerusalem embassy. The Muslim World League (MWL) states this violates UN resolutions.

MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa backed the rejection, warning the move unlawfully undermines Somalia’s territorial sovereignty.

Recognized by Israel, the breakaway region is establishing this controversial mission to secure vital security and infrastructure guarantees.
