In just one week since its premiere on March 31, 2025, JUMBO made history by becoming Indonesia’s highest-grossing animated film, drawing over one million viewers and surpassing the long-standing record set by Si Juki The Movie in 2017.

Produced by Visinema Studios, the film took five years to complete and brought together more than 420 Indonesian animators, with its heartfelt story and local characters resonating deeply with families and children across the country.

The film’s success has sparked widespread support on social media through the “Buzzer Jumbo Gratisan” movement, where netizens promoted the film voluntarily, pushing for better-quality local entertainment and making JUMBO a symbol of national pride.

With strong momentum at home, JUMBO is now set to debut internationally starting June 2025 in Malaysia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam, followed by screenings in Central Asian and European countries, expanding the reach of Indonesia’s animation industry to a global stage.
