Singapore to assess whether it is ready for advanced nuclear energy

Singapore will undergo an IAEA nuclear review (INIR Phase 1) in 2027 to assess its nuclear energy readiness.

PM Lawrence Wong confirmed this is not a commitment to adopt nuclear energy, but a step toward informed decision-making.
