A recent report revealed that South Korean and Taiwanese tourists, two of Viet Nam’s biggest visitor groups, have relatively low satisfaction levels with their travel experiences in the country.
Despite strong tourism promotion efforts, many visitors feel that services, infrastructure, and convenience do not meet their expectations, particularly in areas like hotel quality, transportation, and language accessibility.
Challenges such as airport inefficiencies, poor pedestrian safety, and communication barriers have contributed to negative feedback, with Taiwan’s Net Promoter Score even falling into the negative range.
To improve the experience, experts recommend upgrading tourism infrastructure, increasing multilingual support, and tailoring experiences to better match South Korean and Taiwanese preferences in food, shopping, and entertainment.
