Brand Finance's stakeholder equity assessment, which is ISO 20671 certified, uses original market research data from over 100,000 respondents in over 35 countries and over 30 industries.
Following a +2.5 point improvement to a Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 94.0 out of 100 and an exceptional AAA+ brand strength grade, Indonesia's BCA is the top bank in the Brand Finance Banking 500 2022 ranking.
BCA has fared well across important indicators, notably those related to customer satisfaction, as one of the leading banks in the ASEAN area and Indonesia's largest lender by market value. BCA beat its peers in terms of reputation and quality, as well as value for money, according to Brand Finance's original market research.
The brand has clearly benefited from considerable investments in its digital banking arm over the last year, as the quality of digital platforms continues to be a key component in customer perceptions of banking companies. BCA has no intentions to slow down in the near year, recently announcing its intention to float BCA Digital on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Following BCA, Mandiri maintains its position as the world's seventh most powerful bank brand in 2022. Bank BRI achieved a remarkable feat by climbing 20 positions to become the 9th strongest bank brand in 2022.
