Vietnam Airlines has officially opened a direct flight route from Hồ Chí Minh City to Denpasar, Bali, known as two of Asia's most in-demand travel destinations.
The move marks the closer connectivity between Vietnam and Indonesia, with the hope of increasing the flow of tourists and expanding cooperation in various sectors.
Initially, the flight will be available four times a week, but starting in July 2025 the frequency will be increased to daily flights using Airbus A321 aircraft for passenger convenience.
With more than 800,000 tourists traveling between the two countries in 2024 and Bali attracting 6.3 million foreign visitors last year, the new route is expected to further strengthen tourism growth and bilateral relations between Viet Nam and Indonesia.
